The Journey

Tom's interest in breathwork began in 2018, through practices including the Wim Hof Method, Rebirthing Breathwork, and Vedic pranayama. During a challenging period in his own life, these practices became something more than technique. They were powerful tools for building resilience, reducing stress, and improving emotional wellbeing.

Training & Lineage

He later trained as a Certified Transformational Breathwork Facilitator under Brian Kelly, before becoming a Certified Oxygen Advantage® Instructor. Developed by Patrick McKeown, Oxygen Advantage is one of the world's leading functional breathing methodologies, combining breathing science with practical techniques to improve breathing efficiency during rest, exercise and sleep. Alongside almost a decade of experience in integrative and regenerative medicine, this is what gives Tom's approach its evidence-informed edge.

Background

Tom has also practised Transcendental Meditation® since the age of five, growing up with the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Across everything he's studied, one thing has stayed constant. The journey was never about becoming someone new or better. It's about reducing stress and clearing enough space to experience, to remember, the stillness that was quietly there all along. A kind of coming home. For Tom, the breath is a thread that connects mind, body and the subtlest aspects of awareness. He approaches the deeper work as a guide with humility, care and deep respect. Yet the foundation of his work remains practical and evidence-informed, built on solid training and proven techniques rather than belief or philosophy.

Mission

Today, through Memento Breath Lab, Tom helps people learn to reduce stress, reset, and shift their nervous system into a state of balance, building the tools to regulate their own state, on their own, long after a session ends.
